Biography
I went to trade school for five years while I was working for an upholstery company in Jamaica before I came to the U.S. Now, I own a store in Jamaica and I’m also the co-executive owner of Tidewater Furniture Upholstery here in Portsmouth.
I’ve been in the upholstery business for twenty years, and if I didn’t love it, I wouldn’t be in it. I love what I do and I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to open two stores.
The number one source of my clients is word-of-mouth. Some people come here based on referrals and others find us online. When someone recommends you and your work to their friends and family, that’s the best praise you can get. I love to see a smile on my customer's face when they pick-up their furniture from us.
